In 2023, I launched the Deborah Rosati Women in Leadership Mentorship Program at Brock University to foster connections and opportunities for women at my alma mater. The program is comprised of a diverse community of mentors and mentees, offering partnership and engagement opportunities for future leaders.

Applications are now open for the next cohort. Self-identifying women with a Niagara or Brock affiliation interested in building their professional network and improving their leadership skills are invited to apply to be a mentor or mentee by Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024.

“I would encourage any and everyone to be a part of it — either as a mentor, sharing their experiences, or as a mentee, who wants to learn,” said Khatija Qureshi, a mentee in the most recent cohort of the program. “The program was very manageable, and I loved the methodical structure of setting boundaries and expectations, yet giving flexibility and control to the mentor and mentee so that it works for both of them.”
