As Founder & CEO of Women Get On Board, I was recently a speaker and moderator for a panel discussion at WCT-GTA‘s virtual event ‘Boost your Career with WCT: How to get on a Board.’

In a collaboration between the GTA and Waterloo Region chapters of WCT, the panel also included industry leaders Aliza Lakhani, Alison Chick and Cheryl Fullerton. The panelists discussed how they landed their board seats, how board membership has enhanced their careers, what their responsibilities include and what to watch out for when looking for board positions.
